Neshanic Valley Golf Course
Neshanic Valley Golf Course is the flagship facility of the five-course Somerset County Park Commission system. The 27-hole Championship Course, the 9-hole Academy Course, the Learning Center, and the Callaway Golf Performance Center were designed to accommodate the needs of golfers of all abilities.
Merri-Makers and the Somerset County Park Commission
have entered into a 5-year exclusive management
agreement wherein Merri-Makers will operate the food and
beverage operations at Neshanic Valley Golf Course,
commencing January 1, 2009.
The beautiful "Room with a View" Banquet Room overlooking the bucolic surroundings is available for outings, banquets, weddings, social events, fundraisers, business meetings and community events. The room is complemented by an outdoor deck with a 270-degree view of the golf course, the historic Neshanic Valley, and the nearby Sourland Mountains.
Merri-Makers will also be providing a majestic tent on
the grounds. "Splendor in the Grass" will be able to
accommodate up to 500 guests in comfort, along with an
adjacent, dedicated area (with optional tent) to
provide for outdoor ceremonies of all sorts.
